1. Why
select Travel Quest as your Honeymoon planner?
If you are seeking a professional and calm honeymoon specialist to guide you
through the selection process, you have found the right source. Travel Quest
offers the travel experience and expertise to create a memorable tropical
vacation. In addition, our long-established travel affiliations allow us to
offer value pricing, upgrades and special honeymoon amenities. We will save you
time and reduce the risk of overlooking key elements in your vacation planning
2. How far in advance should I start my Honeymoon Planning?
As soon as you select your wedding and approximate honeymoon-departure date,
it’s wise to start your honeymoon selection process. Let us help you determine
the reservation time frame that will work best for your chosen resort or cruise.
As a general rule, allow at least 6 to 8 months lead time.
3. What is a Honeymoon Registry?
A Honeymoon Registry is the same as a Bridal Registry, except gifts of money go
directly toward your fabulous trip. If you already have an established
residence, and have no need of “more stuff,” this is a perfect gift idea. The
Honeymoon Registry gives you a chance to upgrade your Honeymoon selection with
help from caring family and friends. We can assist with your online Honeymoon
Registry.
4. When do I have to pay for the Honeymoon?
A deposit will hold your honeymoon selection, whether it be a hotel package,
all-inclusive resort or cruise. Final payment is typically due 60 days before
your departure date.
5. How does an all-inclusive resort differ from a regular resort?
All Inclusive resorts, such as Sandals, Couples, Club Med and Palace Resorts
have a fixed price that includes your accommodations, meals, beverages and
entertainment and most sports and beach activities. A resort package covers the
accommodations and any complimentary resort activities. Meals, entertainment and
sports are an added cost. Some resort hotels, particularly in Tahiti and Mexico,
offer a meal plan, which is worth considering.
6. Is it wise to purchase travel cancellation insurance protection?
Travel Quest strongly recommends travel insurance. While we don’t like to think
about it, the unforeseen can happen and could result in a delay of your precious
vacation. This coverage would allow you to reschedule your trip with no loss of
money to you (except for the insurance premium). Travel Insurance buys you peace
of mind. For a preview of the types of coverage offered please click here to see our carrier’s web site.
7. Can you arrange travel to other honeymoon destinations?
Like Paris, Belize or the Mediterranean? Absolutely! We are a full-service
travel agency, and have experienced travel planners who would be happy to work
with your travel arrangements to other parts of the world. Let us know your
Honeymoon fantasy.
8. Do you have service fees for arranging travel?
After you have had a chance to review our web-site, talked with Dianne in person
or by phone and selected Travel Quest as your Honeymoon Specialist, a refundable
$150.00 per person “Plan To Travel Deposit” or credit card authorization will be
required. We will then start the exciting process of creating the honeymoon to
fit your dreams. This deposit will be refunded to you within two weeks of your
return. For more details, please see the Travel Quest “Plan to Travel Deposit”
agreement.
